About This Service

At Gentle Goodbyes, we believe the way you say farewell should reflect the love you shared. Aquamation offers a softer, more peaceful way to honor your pet when the time comes — which is why we’re proud to provide it as a compassionate alternative.

In partnership, we ensure your pet is cared for with dignity and respect every step of the way.

It’s a gentle option for families who want a thoughtful goodbye that aligns with their values and their pet’s memory.

From the first conversation to the return of your pet’s remains, our team walks alongside you with care, ensuring every detail is handled with the tenderness your companion deserves.

Our Process

1

Gentle Pickup or Drop-Off

We offer respectful pickup from your home or your veterinarian’s office. If you prefer, you may also arrange a drop-off. Every step is handled with care and compassion.

2

Your Final Goodbye

You are welcome to take as much time as you need to say goodbye. We create a calm, unhurried space so you can share those final moments in a way that feels right for you.

3

The Return of Ashes

After the aquamation process is complete, your pet’s ashes are carefully returned to you in your chosen urn, ready to be kept or memorialized in a meaningful way.

Offering a peaceful setting for your final goodbye.

The Rainbow Bridge

“A quiet paw, a softer breath,
A love that outlives every rest.
Though small in size, their place was deep—
In grateful hearts, their memories keep.”

Aquamation & a Gentle Goodbye

When the time comes to say farewell, every family chooses what feels right for them. Both traditional cremation and aquamation are respectful options — and at Gentle Goodbyes, we’re honored to offer aquamation for families who are seeking a softer approach.

A More Gentle Experience

Aquamation is a water-based process that many families feel reflects a calm and peaceful goodbye. This is an alternative that aligns with the way many people describe their pets — gentle, loving, and deeply cherished.

Thoughtful & Environmentally Minded

For those who value sustainability, aquamation is also considered an environmentally conscious option. It uses less energy and avoids combustion, offering peace of mind for families who want their pet’s farewell to reflect their values.

Why Families Choose Aquamation

– A peaceful, water-based process
– No flame or combustion
– Environmentally mindful
– Often returns more remains
– A softer, modern alternative

If aquamation feels like the right reflection of your pet’s life and your love for them, we are here to guide you with compassion every step of the way.
